Doric Townhouse Façade

In this project, I experiemented with altering the proportions of the Orders to complement and support the bays of a façade. Drawing from the work of Robert Adam and Asher Benjamin, I used a monumental Doric order to structure the front of the house; making deviations from the canon when necessary - such as the oversized triglyphs framing the windows at the top of the house. An implicit Tuscan order is used for the first floor, serving as a pedestal for the more expressive Doric levels above.
